A New Outreach Collection

The Outreach Ministry Committee wishes to highlight a new collection -- aluminum cans for Habitat for Humanity. Habitat’s goal for the future is to build a “Can House,” funded solely by the revenue from these cans. The wholesale cost of building materials for a Habitat house is $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 and they have raised $20,000.00 so far. We are delighted to have the opportunity to participate in this meaningful endeavor. Please put your rinsed out aluminum cans, either crushed or whole, in the box for Habitat, but continue to put the pull tabs in the jar for Ronald McDonald House.  Thank you for supporting our collections.

Dear Friends

Thank you for your ongoing donations to the Food Pantry. We received 220.5 pounds of groceries from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in June. What a blessing! In June the Food Pantry served over 250 people each week. Each client received about $32.98 worth of food. 70% of the food we are able to give out comes from donations like yours. Without your support we would not be able to serve those in need. On behalf of our clients, I thank you and ask God’s blessing on you.                       Gratefully, Jenny McCormick
